Owner Joe Fugere Throws First Pitch for Italian Heritage Night at Seattle Mariners Game!

From Founder Joe Fugere’s beloved Italian grandparents, who inspired him to bring Neapolitan cuisine to Seattle, to Marco Nocco, General Manager at Tutta Bella, Issaquah, who was born in Milan and raised on the Italian island of Sardinia, Tutta Bella is proud of its Italian heritage!

Joe and Marco were invited by Festa Italiana to throw out the first pitch as part of the annual Mariners’ Italian Heritage Night, which brings Italian-American friends and family together for a night at the ballpark!

Team Tutta Bella worked hard on their pitching drills prior to the big night. They suited up in Mariners’ team jerseys, then Joe headed to the mound and threw a perfect pitch to Marco for the win.  (The Mariners might be calling their names any day now!)

Proceeds from tickets sold at the game benefitted Festa Italiana. The non-profit organization host an annual festival every September in Seattle to celebrate the cultural roots of Italians and Italian-Americans living in the region, and remains the largest Italian-American event in the Pacific Northwest. Tutta Bella is a proud annual participant.
