Pizzas for Padre

Tutta Bella Honors Dads with Donation to Operation Nightwatch this Father’s Day

This Father’s Day, Sunday, June 16, treat dad to a pizza pie and give back to a critical cause.

The team at Tutta Bella understands that holidays such as Father’s Day often impact those separated from family and loved ones due to homelessness and poverty.

As a result, all five Tutta Bella neighborhood restaurants will donate $1 from the proceeds of pizzas that are named after Italian men and fathers near and dear to the Tutta Bella family’s hearts to Operation Nightwatch.

Operation Nightwatch is a non-profit organization that provides food and shelter nightly to 130 adults, a permanent supportive living space for 24 formerly-homeless seniors, and real support for people living outside and in area shelters.

MARINARA DI COSTANTINO

no cheese tomato sauce, calabrian chile–infused extra virgin olive oil, slivered garlic, oregano

Costantino is named after one of Tutta Bella’s dearest friends, who tragically passed from cancer at the young age of 35. His warm personality and genuine hospitality are still very much a part of our company, as Costantino’s name also adorns the oven in D’Asporto, Tutta Bella’s food truck, and his family owns the company that packs the famous Tutta Bella tomatoes.

LEONARDO

tomato sauce, Italian sausage, roasted red pepper, calabrian chile, roasted onion, fresh mozzarella, provola, oregano

Leonardo is named after Leo’s Ristorante in Warren, Ohio; the first restaurant Executive Chef Brian Gojdics worked at growing up. “I created the Leonardo pizza based off of a pizza that I ate at Leo’s as a kid.”  To this day, Chef Brian still craves Leo’s food. “Every time I am back home for a visit, I eat there as often as I can.”

PIETRO

Pietro was founder Joe’s great grandfather. His work ethic, passion for life, and sense of family have been inspirations to founder Joe since before he opened his first Tutta Bella restaurant in 2004. Pietro and his wife emigrated to the Beacon Hill area from Italy and became cornerstones of Seattle’s early Italian-American communities. His name also adorns the oven at Tutta Bella’s Wallingford location.

ROBERTO

extra virgin olive oil, pistachio puree, Italian sausage, fresh mozzarella, smoked buffalo mozzarella, basil

Roberto is named after Roberto Caporuscio, a Neapolitan Pizza authority and one of owner Joe’s early inspirations. “Roberto taught me about the beauty of Neapolitan cooking, and that love is always the (not so) secret ingredient.” Roberto is also a proud father to Giorgia, one of the country’s most beloved female pizzaiolos. The Caporuscio family has been great friends of and collaborators with Tutta Bella over the years.
