CIBUS is one of the most focused and popular (and largest!) food shows in the world. It showcases authentic Italian products and attracts a global audience.
CIBUS takes place annually in Parma, Italy the home of the world famous Parmigiano Reggiano cheese and Prosciutto di Parma.
Imagine hundreds and hundreds of exhibitors sharing their expertise on the authentic Italian ingredients we use at Tutta Bella — Vesuvius plum tomatoes, mozzarella di bufala cheese, tipo 00 flour, extra virgin olive oil, anchovies, bronze die pasta, prosciutto, etc.
Because of our commitment to authentic Italian food, culture, and cooking methods Tutta Bella was invited by CIBUS (after being nominated by one of our vendors) to attend this year’s show as as a participant in the “Hosted Buyers“ program. Hosted Buyers get priority access and private meetings with exhibitors.
Not only did attending the show give me access to the artisans who produce the ingredients that go into Tutta Bella pizzas, pastas, and desserts, I also had the opportunity to discover new products and inspire ideas that I can bring back to our chef Brian Gojdics and our guests.
Upon reflection, I am thankful and proud that Tutta Bella is so focused on doing things right. I ran into several people who knew about our reputation for using the best possible ingredients and our commitment to authentic recipes and artisan techniques. It feels great to be singled out in a crowd by world famous pizza makers — the pizza makers at Tutta Bella are in great company!
