Our Story

Our Story

Tutta Bella Neapolitan Pizzeria shares the centuries-old traditions of Neapolitan cuisine, nourishes lives each day and makes a difference in our local communities. Founded in 2004 in Seattle’s Columbia City neighborhood, we have grown to five neighborhood restaurants in Seattle, Bellevue and Issaquah — open daily for lunch, dinner and happy hour.

Tutta Bella’s menu is inspired by the authentic, wood-fired pizzas born in Naples and the cuisine found throughout Italy. We use the finest imported and locally sourced ingredients along with artisan traditions and welcoming service to bring the definitive Neapolitan pizza experience to our guests.

We live true to our mission and values in order to continuously-improve our business, while also making a positive social and environmental impact. By dining with us, you help to invigorate our region by supporting local northwest companies and our non-profit partners.

VPN Certification

Our pizza follows strict adherence to the culinary discipline of the Associazione Verace Pizza Napoletana (VPN) – from the preparation of raw ingredients to the cooking method in an approved wood-fired oven. Only organic pomodoro di Napoli and fresh mozzarella, herbs, and yeast are permitted. As the first pizzeria in the Northwest to receive the coveted VPN certification, we’re proud to be held accountable to these standards.

Visit the official VPN site for more information.

Tutta Bella works within our communities in many different ways reflecting the myriad schools, organizations, and causes that are close to the hearts of our neighbors, coworkers and guests.

We engage in larger fundraising and community events, as well as create ongoing partnerships companywide with organizations such as Food Lifeline and Amara. We have a “focused community partner program” where each location connects with a local non-profit to get deeply involved (food donations, volunteering, training/mentoring, cross-marketing, etc.) with the organization to help them support their mission. Please check out our location pages to find out more.

Every year, we are proud to support hundreds of community organizations that make our neighborhoods better places to live and work by providing them with gift cards for fundraisers. To request a gift card for a non-profit community organization, send all of the following information to: community@tuttabella.com
